We’ve both been lucky enough to go on an incredible journey with Laura through the Wilder Heart series, and we’re thrilled to be on book 4/5 now! From our first role as ARC readers for book one to proofreading, alpha reading, and even helping create graphics for the series, it’s been amazing to watch these characters evolve and come to life in such a vivid way. Seeing the story grow and having a hand in it has been a rewarding experience we won’t forget.
Throughout our work together, we’ve been able to identify crutch words, smooth out plot holes, and fine-tune the pacing, flow, and immersion of the story. We've made sure that every detail works seamlessly to serve the narrative, and it’s been amazing to see the story take shape in such a thoughtful, cohesive way.
Katie is now on book 5 - working as a alpha & proof-reader. You will often find her rereading them four or five times receiving the first draft to reading the physical copy after launch!

It’s been a privilege working with Willow on two books and an audiobook. Throughout the process, we've always been vigilant with trigger warnings, ensuring sensitive content is clearly addressed while never diluting the raw intensity of her dark, gripping themes. I was lucky enough to beta read for The Sweetest Thing - and it completely lived up to its name! It’s the ultimate sweet and swoony college romance, full of those giddy, butterflies-in-your-stomach feelings that come with first love and uni life. From stolen glances in lecture halls to late-night heart-to-hearts, every moment was packed with emotion, charm, and that magical sense of falling for someone when the world still feels full of possibility. The chemistry between the characters was chef’s kiss, the writing was heartfelt and honest, and by the end, I was grinning like an idiot and didn’t want it to end. An absolute joy from start to finish - and a must-read for anyone who loves a romance that makes your heart flutter and your cheeks ache from smiling.

I've had the pleasure of working with Katie over the last year to promote my series, the Wilder Hearts Series, which is a contemporary fiction series.
Katie has been an alpha reader, beta reader, ARC reader and proof reader for me for four of my books,and I have been impressed with her attention to detail, grasp of spelling, grammar and punctuation, as well as her understanding of sentence structure and flow.

She's good at workshopping ideas for scenes and characters, and has been involved in the alpha phase of a book, reading a few chapters at a time and giving feedback, right up to a final read before publishing and every time she has dedicated herself to making sure that the book is the best version that it can be.
In the last few months Katie has also helped me to make content for my books, using quotes from the books and graphics that fit the theme of the book. These are aesthetically perfect, eye-catching and help to promote the books to a wider audience. Katie is aware of the latest trends within book marketing and will contact me to suggest content or a collaboration. We've worked together on several posts across the series which have increased interest in the books and the series as a whole.
I would recommend Katie as a beta reader, alpha reader, proof reader and editor. She has a keen eye for spotting grammar and syntax errors, and improving the flow and pacing.
